Perma Press and our CEO, Alice Norheim, are proud to be nominated for “The Next Awards” by SEB! Alice has been recognized for her work with Perma Press in the Transformation category in the Gothenburg region. SEB emphasizes the importance of entrepreneurship and sustainability through the competition, where they support initiatives that strive to create an inclusive and sustainable world for future generations. The Next Awards celebrate those who can make lasting change and contribute to a better world.

It is an honor for Perma Press to be one of three finalists, demonstrating our commitment to sustainable entrepreneurship. We’re keeping our fingers crossed for Alice and Perma Press in the final against the other impressive companies.

Our heat transfers are certified according to OEKO-TEX® standard 100, product class 1, which has the strictest regulations. Our heat transfers are therefore approved also for baby products.

OEKO-TEX® performs testing on textiles and also on products associated with garments and textiles. For example, buttons, zippers, sewing thread, heat transfers and other applications. The chemical testing checks for substances which are hazardous for humans and the environment. The list of prohibited substances is updated each year, so we need to renew our certificate yearly. We just received our new certificate for our water-based, PVC free heat transfer. A product we are very proud of!
